| The Purchase of Airdrieonians History and Badge
Like many other fans the Supporters Trust were surprised to learn that the liquidation of Airdrieonians was still not complete and is scheduled to take place this week. We know that supporters are very interested in the Airdrieonians name and crest and consequently contacted KPMG to enquire about purchasing them. A KPMG representative responded today and reported that this would not be possible in the short timescale left before the meeting as “all members” would have to approve the sale. They reported that purchase of these assets may still be possible after liquidation and advised independent legal advice should be sought. The Trust will seek advice before considering the next step. |
