Independent Players Fund

Following recent comments and suggestions from our fellow supporters, the  Airdrie Supporters Trust are investigating the possibility of starting a fund for the sole purpose of providing the club with additional funds to sign a player(s) that may normally not be possible.

The trusts recent contribution to the club allowing them to offer Jamie Stevenson a contract has not only been praised by the club but our fellow supporters, non trust members and local businesses  and has been seen as a positive step. It is this encouragement that has led the Trust committee to consider the idea of starting a player’s fund.

Just imagine how you would feel knowing that you have contributed to the signing of a player in the Jan transfer window who helps the team go on and win promotion to the 1^st Division.

The funding system would be purely voluntary and can be done either by monthly direct debit or a simple donation as and when you can. No amount is too little and every penny will be greatly appreciated by club, and supporter alike.

£10 a month (or 33p per day) with 100 monthly contributors would provide a £5000 fund for the Jan transfer window.

All we are asking for at this stage is to register your interest and once the trust have setup  the account we will contact you with all the account information and direct debit form so that you can choose which method you want to use to make your contribution.

The Airdrie Supporters Trust have listened to your suggestions now we are putting them in place
